Department Info

Responsible for collection of solid waste from dumpsters around the county and disposal of waste via the Burke County Transfer Station. The Department operates the Solid Waste Transfer Station, the Construction and Demolition Debris Landfill.


NOTICE:
STORM DEBRIS FROM THE RECENT TORNADO CAN BE BROUGHT THE THE LANDFILL FOR DISPOSAL. SET UP AN ACCOUNT AT THE SCALEHOUSE AND THE ACCOUNTS WILL BE SETTLED ONCE THE SITES HAVE BEEN CLEARED.
