Public Meeting Notice -  Burke County Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan Update

‚Äč Burke County will begin its five-year update of their FEMA approved Pre-Disaster Hazard Mitigation Plan. As part of the planning process, Burke County is holding a public kick-off meeting on February 26, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Burke County Office Park, 715 West 6th Street, Waynesboro, GA 30830. Civic organizations, local businesses, and citizens of Burke County, as well as the cities of Girard, Keysville, Midville, Sardis, Vidette, and Waynesboro are encouraged to attend.

The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens of Burke County an opportunity to provide input into the updated plan. This plan is required by FEMA.  Citizens, Elected Officials, Business Representatives, School Officials, Public Safety Officials and surrounding counties are invited to attend this meeting.
