Welcome to Waynesboro
Expect comfort, hospitality and community
Downtown Waynesboro was the setting for the first ever "Thunder on Liberty" last Friday night. A total of 65 cars ranging from the early 1900's to late model Corvettes lined Liberty Street for a night of fun for hundreds of people. Festival goers were also treated to some "rockin" tunes from the band Inside Out. Restaurants and shops remained open for shopping and dining. It was a night downtown that will be long remembered. A big thank you to all who voluntered their time and especially to the Burke County Chamber of Commerce and the Waynesboro Downtown Development Authority - Main Street.
