Industrial Development in Waynesboro
The City of Waynesboro works in cooperation with the Burke County Economic Development Authority and Chamber of Commerce to promote economic and industrial development in the Waynesboro-Burke County area. This cooperation has provided an industrial park and infrastructure capable of supporting an industrial park to stay ahead of the needs of potential industry and meet the demands of existing industry. With the recent addition of a 16 inch water line to compliment the existing 10 inch fire line, the City is capable of providing high pressure fire protection at 3,000 GPM at 105 pounds.
