Elections and Registration
Burke County Board of Elections and Registration is responsible for maintaining all voter registration files, updating any and all information relating to voter registration into the State computer system, as well as, maintaining hard copy files.
Executing efficient, secure, and convenient elections for the voting public; hire, train and maintain poll workers records; test and maintain all election equipment; acquire and maintain polling locations, qualify candidates; and we are the local qualifying authority for the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission. Due to Construction at the Senior Center, the North Waynesboro Precinct will vote at the Office Park for the January 5th Runoff Election.

JANUARY 5, 2021 GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTION RUNOFF
For Burke County
Pursuant to O.G.C.A. 21-2-386(a)(3), this is to notify the citizens of Burke County, Georgia, that the Burke County Board of Elections and Registration will begin PROCESSING (mail-out) absentee ballots cast in the JANUARY 5, 2021 General/Special Election Runoff. Processing will be done in the Burke County Board of Elections Office 602 N. Liberty St. Waynesboro, Ga 30830. For more information please contact Laverne Sello at 706-554-7457.
